First off let me tell you how much this girl has changed my life. I honestly can’t imagine what my life would have been like if I hadn’t met Melanie, the horse crazy blonde, in reading class in 6th grade. As I sit here writing this and looking out my window at my two horses Tavi & Lucy, I wonder if I would have ever found my love for horses if it wasn’t for her. I remember that first time Melanie drug me out to the barn to see her ride, and how we used to stay up at night scheming about how we would raise enough money to buy me a horse. I remember those junior high fights that left us feeling like our world was crumbling down around us and finally squashing our junior high crazies when we got stuck sitting next to each other in computer science freshman year of high school. I am so proud of this gorgeous gal and the beautiful young lady she has turned into. Melanie will be graduating from Baylor soon with her Masters Degree. I can not wait to see where life takes her, I know she will be wildly successful in whatever she does with her life.
