When your best friend calls you and says “I am eloping!” You reschedule your meetings, drop everything, and drive to Austin so that you can make sure her day is special.
When I arrived in Austin I made a quick stop by the flower market and picked up flowers and did my best to play florist for the day.
I hope you enjoy Holly & Nathan’s Mount Bonnell Austin,TX Elopement . I wanted to make sure Holly had the day that every bride deserves. After getting Holly & Nathan ready at their apartment I made sure that they didn’t see each other until we did their first look. We went to a little park and took pictures of Holly by herself and then shortly after Nathan arrived ready to see his Bride. I can’t even tell you how happy I was to be there and capture this special day. Holly was absolutely stunning and, well Nathan cleaned up pretty well himself 😉 Nathan’s reaction when he first saw Holly was priceless.
After their First Look we headed up to Mount Bonnell. If you haven’t ever been to Mount Bonnell, there are a million steps that you have to take to get up to the top. Holly wearing heels and a dress was a total trooper, and Nathan in his suit survived without passing out from the heat. Their ceremony was absolutely breathtaking, I am pretty sure there isn’t a spot more gorgeous than this in all of Texas. After the ceremony we took some pictures of the two of them and then hiked back down the million steps. I knew that they had to have some kind of cake so in true Austin fashion we headed down to the Food Trucks and had a Monte Cristo and Cupcake for dinner.
I am so incredibly happy for you Holly and Nathan!! I am so excited to see what the next few years bring.
