I recommend scheduling your session at least 3-4 months in advance. If you are looking for a weekend session my weekends typically book up 6 months in advance.

At this time we will set up a consultation at my studio in Montgomery,TX where we can discuss your exact needs for your session and start to plan locations,outfits, or any other details. At this time you can pay your non-refundable session fee and sign the contract for your session.

I want to hear from you the type of things you are looking to get out of your session, are you looking to get gorgeous pieces of art to display on your walls, or an album to show off when your friends and family come to visit? If you are looking to create pieces of art to display on the walls of your home we will coordinate and create a session that will complement your décor.

Two weeks

Most prints and wall art pieces take up to 2-3 weeks to come in after they are ordered, albums can take up 6-8 weeks.

After your session is complete I will upload all of your images to my computer and select the very best images to edit, the number of images will vary depending on the type of session. We will set up an ordering and wall design consultation approximately two weeks after your session at my studio in Montgomery, TX.

At this ordering and wall design consultation you will get to view your images, they will be printed out so that you see what they really look like. At this time you can sort through them and pick out your favorite images. I will also help you figure out how to display your images on the walls of your home, you can even send me images of the walls in your home and I can show you exactly what your images will look like on your walls!

All prints, products, and digital files from your session are sold separately.

I offer both a la carte products and collections. The collections include everything from gift prints, wall art, digital files, and albums.

You will be sent a guide to help you choose the outfits for your session. I will help guide you through the process to ensure the outfits you choose photograph well.

All sessions are booked 1-2 hours prior to sunset in the evening, or immediately after sunrise in the morning. This is when the light is the softest and will help to create beautiful images.

All payments made to Designs by Karinda are non refundable. This includes payments for session fees and print products. If you must cancel your session for any reason your session fee will not be returned, however it can be applied towards a session within 6mo of the original sessions date. Keep in mind dates are subject to availability.

If you are late for your session it will simply decrease the length of your session, since I am a natural light photographer and a majority of my outdoor sessions take place right before sunset there is simply not a way to extend your session time if you are running late. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your session you will need to pay a $50 fee and reschedule your session for a different date.

If it is cold we will typically still have your session as planned, unless it involves little kiddos. If kids are involved I always want to make sure their health and happiness it put first. If it is cloudy outside you can still have gorgeous pictures, I actually prefer a day with some clouds as opposed to a day with wide open sunny skies. This is something that is out of my control 100% and often times can change within a matter of minutes. I can create beautiful portraits for your family with or without the sun shining bright 😉

I keep an eye on the weather very closely during the week leading up to your session. Typically, due to how unpredictable Texas weather can be, we wait until the day of the session to decide if it will be best to reschedule due to rain.
