I just love this little bench, isn’t it cute? They brought this bench out and surprised Tiffany so she could use if for their pictures.

This was a first, I got to photograph them with this gorgeous old truck. Actually there were two old trucks, one was a Chevy and the other was a Ford. This old Ford was so cute, I think I need to get one of these so all of my clients can have pictures like this!

Some photographers want fancy couches, I want an old truck. I hope my fiancé doesn’t read this he might take this as an excuse to go buy one.

I forgot to mention, Cameron is an Okie and Tiffany is from Crosby,TX but it looks like he has fully converted her. Look at them with their OSU gear.

This was Cameron’s idea, like the old school guy fixes girls truck girl falls in love….yep this happened but I think she was already in love <3

This ladies and gents took some talent, Tiffany had to hold perfectly still to hold her ring between her boots.

Recently I had the opportunity to photograph Laura & Kade. I actually went to Junior High and High School with Laura, it is always so much fun when I get to photograph people I know even when I haven’t seen them in years. It is crazy to think that everyone is growing up, getting married, having babies, and getting big kid jobs 🙂

Laura and Kade were coming into town for the Houston Bridal Extravaganza so they contacted me about taking their Engagement Photos.

On the day we were supposed to take their pictures it rained all over town, thank goodness it cleared up and the sun came out just in time to capture the love between these two.

I adore this picture, it is so sweet and really does show how much they love each other.

I was so excited that they brought along their sweet puppy Brynn-Leigh. She is absolutely adorable.

I went and grabbed this blanket right before their session as I was praying the rain would let up, I could not wait to use it. I just love the way this picture turned out! I love capturing those candid moments between people, these are the moments that really count.

I am so proud to introduce you all to Ryan. I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan this past year when I was substitute teaching at my old high school Cy-Falls High School. He is a member of Cy-Falls FFA and shows Pigs and he also loves his car, but what senior boy doesn’t?

I can’t even begin to tell you all of the bad jokes I had to tell to get a natural smile, but I have to say the little smirk in the top corner is the true Ryan look. I think I need some more comedic material 🙂

I decided to start my blogging journey with one of my favorite couples, Lynzie and Gerald. I actually went to high school with these two. I knew Gerald and worked with Gerald, but I never really knew Lynzie. Little did I know when they contacted me about photographing their Wedding that it would be the start of a new friendship. I have had so much fun with these two over the past 6 months. I can’t wait to capture their little family for years to come. Like Lynzie told me “I am booking you for life!”

They showed up at their engagement session with the most adorable shirts that Lynzie had made, their wedding date was March 30, 2013.

Gerald had no idea that he was going to get a workout at their engagement session. Gosh I just adore this little trail.

When we started out I think Gerald and Lynzie thought I was crazy with all of the thing I had them do, but the pictures turned out so precious and really showed their personalities.

One of the things I love about Engagement sessions is the love you get to see between the future Bride and Groom. I love the pictures of them just laughing and being themselves, the more I am around them the more I realize that Gerald is a big kid and would prefer to play jokes on people all of the time.

These white fishing shirts are so perfect! If I recall correctly there was some spinning and almost falling down between these pictures 🙂

I would always catch Gerald with this adorable look on his face admiring his beautiful bride to be.

I learned a couple of things at this session, one of those was that you can’t write with chalk on the bottom of rubber sole boots, thankfully she had another pair in the car.

Did I mention they have the most adorable little boy Cooper, they brought him along for some family pictures. I believe he was 3 months old in these pictures and you can already tell by those eyes he is going to be a heart breaker.

We hung around long enough to catch the sunset, I absolutely adore this sky on this evening. I don’t think I have found a more gorgeous sunset since this day.
