This session was a little different than your ordinary family session, Ashley had a special announcement to make to her sisters at the end of the session and it was so hard to keep it a secret.

This is when it started to unfold, I decided to take them down the road to the BUMP sign thinking that they would notice that the sign was totally random to be taking a picture under.

After the BUMP sign didn’t make them think twice I pulled out the board with Ashley’s due date, we snuck it in the picture without her sisters seeing it and then I asked them if I spelled their last name right so that they would look at it. This was their reaction to seeing the date.

They were still confused about what was going on so I moved them closer to the sign and handed Ashely the ultrasound picture and asked her to see what was inside. Once they saw the ultrasound picture they finally realized what was going on and their reactions were priceless 😀

I can’t even explain to all of you how incredible the ladies over at Striking Stems in Tomball are, when they called me asking me to photograph this St. Patricks Day Styled Shoot that they put together I was so excited. I couldn’t have ever imagined such a gorgeous Green + Gold Wedding, but I think Sandy and Ashley hit this one out of the park! I am a huge advocate for fresh flowers at weddings, I think that if you invest a little extra in your flowers you don’t have to worry about all of the other little decorations because the flowers are just absolutely gorgeous on their own.

Sweet little Pheobe was such an Angel at her newborn session. Isn’t she the most gorgeous baby ever, those lips and that little nose are just perfect.

To say that Taryn’s Ashelynn Manor Bridal Portraits were fun would be an understatement, lets just put it this way, I will never be able to go to Ashelynn Manor without thinking of Taryn and Bob. Who is Bob? Well Bob would be the ghost that she made me think was right behind me, turns out she was just telling a story and didn’t really see anything. I don’t do ghosts or spooky things, lets just say I screamed very loudly. Ok I’m not sure Bob was even his name, but you get the point. I may never really know my left and rights either 😉

As I sit here writing this blog I feel like a part of me is missing since Taryn’s wedding is now over, and Will stole her away to live with him. I have so enjoyed getting to know this gorgeous girl over the past year and I can not wait to see where life takes Taryn & Will, hopefully they will end up back in Houston eventually!

I always tell people that I love my clients just like they are family, and Eric & Dakota are no exception. I have absolutely fallen in love with this family especially their son Branson, lets be honest if I knew that I could have a kid and it would as cute as Branson I would have a baby tomorrow and not think twice. I can’t even see the moon at night without thinking of the way this little man points out the moon every time he sees it. Ok enough about Branson, but really isn’t he cute?! This was the first engagement session I have done at Ashelynn Manor in Magnolia,TX and oh my goodness let me tell you this place is perfect for an engagement session. I am in love with the fields out behind the venue with all of the giant moss covered oak trees, they are absolutely gorgeous.  I will stop myself before I go on and on about this session but let me tell you this, it was pure perfection!
