I have to admit, I LOVE bridal portraits. They are one of my favorite sessions to photograph. Little girls dream about the wedding dress they will wear one day, and when it comes the time to pick out their dress they spend hours or sometimes even days looking for the perfect dress…well I spent days, no actually weeks looking for my dress.  Every time I get to see one of my bride’s dresses I am blown away, and Courtney’s dress wan’t an exception.

I could spend hours talking about wedding dresses, I adore them. Bridal portraits are an amazing chance for a bride to give her wedding day look a trial run and free up some time on the wedding day. I highly recommend that brides have both a hair and makeup trial before their wedding day to make sure they are happy with their hair and makeup on their wedding day and they know what to expect. The other great thing about opting to have bridal portraits is that it opens up time on the wedding day, you already have those amazing pictures of you in your dress so you don’t have to worry about setting time aside on your wedding day.

One of the hardest parts of my job is keeping gorgeous pictures to myself, and Courtney’s bridal portraits at Bernhardt Winery might have been the hardest to keep to myself thus far.

I seriously have fallen in love with Candice & Jason. They are so in love, and are seriously adorable together.  I have so enjoyed getting to know this sweet couple, and look forward to seeing their family grow 😀

You have to go check out their venue Moffitt Oaks, it is a brand new facility in Tomball and it is gorgeous!

I will leave you with their pictures and spare you of all of my comments for now, I am getting married this weekend so I have a ton of last minute things to finish up. Oh and a whole new respect for each and every one of my brides, I don’t think a person can comprehend all of the emotions of being a bride until they have been a bride themselves. It makes me love each and every one of my brides so much more <3

Candice & Jason opted for a first look. I can’t even lie this might have been my favorite part about the whole day. The look on Jason’s face was priceless but most importantly it gave them an extremely private moment to just enjoy each other’s company and excitement on their big day.

This is Lee, his session is a little different than a typical newborn session because he is 7 weeks old in these pictures. Typically newborn pictures are done when they are under 14 days old but I just couldn’t turn Kristina away. This little boy was such a happy baby, and we were even able to get him to fall asleep for a few pictures.

Just look at those big brown eyes, he is going to be a little hear breaker one day.

Meet Little Asher Gunn, born September 6, 2013. He was 8 pounds 6 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long.

This little man is so sweet, oh and he does this adorable little wrinkly thing with his forehead that is the cutest thing ever.

Seniors are some of my favorites, but when they involve their animals they become my ABSOLUTE favorites.

Meet Lauren, she is a Senior at Cy-Ranch High School and she has some pretty awesome Cattle. I had so much fun at her session, and even ended up getting all 3 cattle in the same picture…with their ears up 🙂

Some of you might not know this but I have a degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M, and some of my first photography work was with livestock. Before I got into photography I interned with Show Champions Photography at the Houston Livestock Show,  this sparked my interest in photography and led me to dig out the camera and learn how to use it.

Oh and be prepared for some pretty amazing light, the light at their house was dreamy!!!
