I am so excited to share this Rock Lake Ranch Engagement Session.

 So what if I told you that this engagement session was booked before these two were even engaged?! It was such a tough secret to keep, I anxiously waited for this proposal to happen for what seemed like forever.

I so enjoyed Nancy & Patrick’s engagement session at Rock Lake Ranch in Anderson,TX. I have known Nancy since freshman year of college at Texas A&M. This precious little man was such a good client when he visited my newborn photography studio in Montgomery, he came in and filled his belly up with milk, then he passed out in a milk coma. Just like any good baby does 😀

That is the life of a newborn photographer for you.

So many people say “How do you do this?” well the truth is one big word. PATIENCE.

Patience is the most important thing when photographing a newborn. Ok, patience and staying calm. When my sweet nephew Cash turned one his Daddy couldn’t wait to chop of those curls, so we had to do a quick session one evening before his Dad took him for his big boy hair cut.

Turning one is such a fun time, so many new exciting things like walking and talking come at this time.

So many times for one year session we do Cake Smashes but I always love just a session that is all about the kiddos. I also love doing family sessions for one year sessions. I have one coming up on the blog in just a few weeks that you don’t want to miss.
